Well, here we go again boys and girls. A number of people including me are going to Rockbridge Alum Springs again for Work Crew! WyldLife weekend this time too! I believe that this is going to be different from the last time that I did Work Crew, but I still believe that it's going to be the same fun time. I can't wait to go to Rockbridge and just do everything I can to make sure that the kids that are there for this weekend not only don't have to worry about a thing, but that they also might see Christ in whatever they do.
I hope that this time away from Roanoke will really do something more than just teach me how to love kids better. I hope this time will help me to grow with my own relationship with Christ, and maybe even the people that I am going with. I hope that as many people as we can possibly get away with taking can go. If you've never been on Work Crew before, I would seriously recommend it, because it is definitely the best time ever. I think Work Crew is more fun that being a camper in some respects.
Don't get me wrong, being a campter is very, very fun, but I just can't get over how much fun doing Work Crew over Fall Weekend was. I hope that I can do Work Crew for Summer time next year as a junior. Most importantly, I hope that this time doing Work Crew will really show me a little more about Christ. I really think that Work Crew is going to change at least one person's life. Not even just someone who is there as a camper. I know that someone who is doing Work Crew will be changed in some way. I know my life was changed when I first got back.
Side note: Kendall, if you aren't going, I will do my best to try and bring you back some Bloo Drank. No promises, because I don't know what I'm going to put it in since I don't have my freakin' water bottle anymore..-_-
Well, here's to the Lord. I love you guys.
