How deep the Father's love for us.
How vast beyond all measure.
That He should give His only Son.
To make a wretch His treasure.
How great the pain of searing loss.
The Father turns His face away.
As wounds which mar the Choses One
Bring many sons to glory.
Behold the man upon the cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice.
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there.
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brough me life.
I know that it is finished.
I will not boast in anything.
No gifts, no power, no wisdom./
But I will boast in Jesus Christ.
His death and Ressurection.
Why should I gain from His reward?
I can not give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom.
How deep is this love. I think this song really speaks a lot on Jesus's love for us. There are few more things that can tell us just how deep the Father's love really is. This is the greatest act of love, and I feel as if I am coming back into realizing this, just simply because of this song.
Music is one of many ways you can really learn about the Father's love. For some people, it works better than going to church and hearing the sermon, or going to YoungLife and hearing the talks, or having a bile study. For others, all those other things are the only ways they can really hear the message of Christ. In other ways they can talk to their friends.
That's all for now
Love you
TJ
