Can't wrap my head around it

This weekend, I got the chance to go back to Rockbridge YoungLife camp for Work Crew again. I love that place. I've said it probably a million times, but it's just so great. The Work Crew experience was the best. As always.

This time, we had a lot of people go out for Work Crew. About 70 people to be approximate. This would seem like it would make it easier, but it didn't. A few of the kids who were there weren't putting the things on the tables right, and we went around before every single meal and put things in the right order.

One of the good parts about this weekend was the relationships that I got to make with some kids from Salem. I don't think that anything will ever take the place of these great people. I made so many new friends, who I look forward to being able to hang out with. I mean, they're like 20 minutes drive away. These great new friends are such great people, who are all on fire for Christ and His love.

The best thing I heard all weekend though, was that my buddy Cole gave his life to Christ. None of the glory goes to me, or the servers, or the speaker, or the program crew. Not even the kid himself. Glory be to God for bringing Cole back. I just hope he knows it won't be easy, but it will be filling. Congratulations Cole, you've made your way out of the darkness. We love you.

Another great thing is I've again found my confidence in Christ. We got to go the Club meeting Saturday night, which was the best. The speaker was going over the message of the cross. What Jesus's death on the cross really did, and how much it meant. He also spoke about how we have nothing to be afraid of. This is what convinved me that I was on Work Crew this weekend for a reason. I was so glad to hear this, because as I've said, I've been scared. Well, no more. The thing that I have been ranting about is going to happen. Christ is my motivation, and nothing will change that now.

All in all, this weekend was great. It just keeps building up excitement for Camp. Saranac, here we come.

I love you guys
TJ
